The Palmetto Association for Children and Families (PAFCAF) has launched the first publicly searchable database of foster care providers and services in South Carolina. The first-of-its-kind directory is a resource for individuals interested in becoming a foster parent or adoptive parent, a kinship caregiver or families seeking services. Those utilizing the database are able to easily locate an agency that is right for them in their community, allowing a streamlined process for those seeking services in South Carolina.
Families will also be able to search for private placement options for youth, as well as prevention services and community-based services.
Members of the public have access to this directory simply by clicking here. This site provides private agencies’ contact information, the types of programs and services offered, and other important information to help families wishing to become foster families and families seeking services. It also allows individuals seeking resources and information to search by zip code or county in order to find the agency closest to them and will offer up-to-date website links, so an individual can easily and quickly navigate the website and identify and access the resources they need right there in their community.
