About the Conference

PAFCAF’s Annual Conference is the premier educational and networking event for South Carolina’s child welfare professionals each year. Held at the beautiful Embassy Suites at Kingston Plantation in Myrtle Beach, attendees have the opportunity to network with colleagues, learn about new innovations and technology that can be applied to work with children and families, and interact with sponsoring organizations and companies. This year we expect more than 225 attendees, including PAFCAF member agency executives, clinicians and other credentialed staff, as well as key external partner organizations, vendors and suppliers.

This year’s conference will be held from Wednesday, February 28 to Friday, March 2, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The conference will focus on trauma-informed care, human trafficking victims, psychotropic drugs, gangs, working with LGBTQ youth and much more!

Who Should Attend

Professionals from foster care agencies, residential and group care facilities, home-based providers, PRTF providers, Community Mental Health Centers, Department of Social Services, Department of Mental Health, Department of Juvenile Justice, Department of Health and Environmental Control and community-based youth serving organizations are all welcome to PAFCAF’s annual conference. Workshops will be designed for the following target audiences:

  • CEOs & Executive Level Staff
  • Supervisors & Administrative Staff
  • Clinicians/Therapists
  • Social Workers
  • Case Managers
  • Direct Care Staff
  • Foster Parents
  • Anyone Working with Youth & Families

This is an excellent opportunity to meet other providers of children and family services professionals throughout the state of South Carolina and share your experiences and knowledge of services available.
